Are you a fan of the holiday season? Kahlil and I love to spend this time of the year, working, creating content, and doing minimal holiday activities while watching cheesy holiday movies (as requested by Natasha).
After spending over 15 years together, we are excited to be celebrating another holiday season in a whole new state! If you are an Arizonian, we would love to hear what local traditions you recommend us doing. Share your thoughts in the comments!
Things are going to get REALLY busy for the holiday season (especially on Black Friday). Here are the three things we love to do to stay calm and collected through the season…
#1 Listen to Something Good
#2 Set Reasonable Goals
If you pack your to-do list with too many action items you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Why do this to yourself? If you know you can accomplish 3 things for the day then make that the number of items you will conquer for the day. If you do more, you are a rock star but the goal will be 3. Even though the holidays tends to add more things to do during the day, don’t overwhelm yourself. Pick a reasonable amount of action items to deal with and keep it moving!
#3 Do What Feels Good
If you are a fan of intuitive living, then you know your body will tell you what it needs. When you are thirsty, hungry, or tired your body is very good at telling you. When you eat something that doesn’t sit well with your stomach, you know what will happen. Spare yourself the pain and agony this holiday season. Do what feels good and the holidays will be memorable for all the right reasons!
